New Functionality - Saved Reports

by Jamie Curtis on 2009/03/04

BrandsEye's journey continues, and in reaffirming BrandsEye's round-the-clock fine-tuning, Craig, Quirk's CTO and our tech genius, has introduced a new Saved Reports feature.

BrandsEye, who’s willingness to find meaning in something greater than just online reputation, has been updated with this handy feature not only because of the undeniable skill and vision of those in the business team, but because you, our loyal consumers have let us know that its something you needed.

On a slightly different tac, how impressive and relieving was it when you bought your first Playstation memory card…? No more: ‘knowing what to do but having to go through the hassle of doing it anyway’. No more: ‘I wish I could just save it now…’. With that memory card all those arduous tasks of going back and doing what you have already done disappears, and is replaced by suitable convenience. BrandsEye now has its own built-in memory card.

So what does this entail with respect to BrandsEye? You can now save your custom charts and graphs in a custom report of your choosing, simply by clicking the 'Save' button on the 'Custom' page under the Reports section. Your new report will appear on the Saved page in the Reports section, and you can add more charts to it in the same way.

The aim of this feature is to allow the user to construct reports of interest to them and regularly compare the new data against the same set of criteria. This feature is available to all account types, although of course the range of possible charts will differ if you have the BrandsEye Insight package.

Ultimately, by being able to compare data to previous reports so efficiently, one can add value and give added insight to the respective client’s online reputation. As BrandsEye continually strives to better itself and meet your ever changing needs, its true, Craig Raw has done it and consequently has enabled all BrandsEye users to better their understanding of their online reputation.

How to use the Saved Reports feature: It’s really simple, as you can see below.

Once you’ve created a custom report - accessed through the custom reports tab in the left hand navigation -  that you would like to save for a later date, just click on the ‘save’ option above the chart. Now that you have saved the chart, BrandsEye will store the chart until further use.

Now, if you are in need of that data for a report update, and you want the specific chart you saved however long ago, all you do is click on the ‘saved’ tab under ‘Reports’ anywhere within BrandsEye, and from there you have the option of viewing the saved chart or even editing it. Simple? Simple…. Try it out, it’s a fantastic time saver!
