BrandsEye Changes – March 2010

by Craig Raw on 2010/04/13

At BrandsEye, we’re constantly thinking of and developing new ideas to make the tool better, whether it’s the backend stuff that no one sees or new features to make your daily ORM better.

After receiving more of your feedback, we’ve gone ahead and made updates that make managing your online reputation more efficient and effective. If there is anything else you think we can do to improve, let us know on contact@brandseye.com or grab us on Twitter and we will do our best to help.

The changes made this month include:
Local Times:

BrandsEye has gone local with its dates and times. BrandsEye now displays and accepts dates and times in the local time of the user – in other words, BrandsEye now boasts full time zone support. We have kept this independent of the stored data, so users across different time zones can work on an account simultaneously, all in local time.

As a result, BrandsEye now displays the time of day a mention was published, if published today. In ORM a quick response is key, so if a mention is recent you can see just how much time has elapsed, allowing prioritisation in your engagement efforts.

Authors:

Are your online mentions coming from one particularly influential author? Now you can isolate what this person has to say with the author chart. This option was added under custom reports and can be segmented across all 22 other variables.

 CSV Export of Domains:

If you need to import a list of your top linked domains into another program, BrandsEye now offers full CSV export in addition to the list displayed in the Sorting Report. This is done either from the Sorting Report or the Domain Custom Report. This is perfect for building strike lists for communications efforts.

 Your feature here

It’s interesting to note that many of BrandsEye’s new features have been directly as a result of our users requests – we really appreciate your feedback and consider it all seriously. If you do have a suggestion, please let us know
