[TECH UPDATE] 08/11

by Roger Norton on 2011/08/16

We're constantly in Beta mode, as we feel that there are still plenty of ways that we can make BrandsEye better and better.  Here are a couple of things that we've been working on recently.

- Database and Search upgrade
We are currently rolling out a significant upgrade on our server side, getting ready to implement more frequent and more thorough searches to improve our quality of data. This will mean better results for you - especially on the high volume search phrases - as we strive to get closer and closer to realtime results.

- Ability to switch between V1 and V2 Feel free to move on to V2
In an attempt to move more people across to our newer, sexier version 2, we have enabled the ability to switch between version 1 and version 2 more easily. We’re hoping this will encourage some of the die-hard V1 fans to try out the new version as they'll still be able to switch back if they need
via  the 'Setup' tab. Your account type and features will remain the same across both versions.  [Recommended by: @getclosure]

Question Based Help function- Help menus and Hover-over for added support
We have implemented a question-based help feature within the app that should provide a nice database for common problems and FAQ’s. If your question hasn’t been answered, feel free to fire away and one of the staff will get onto it ASAP. You might have also noticed some hover-over help text that will help guide you through each in-app function.
